The album RavenJazz emerged as a bold cross-genre experiment, blending jazz, rave, electronic, and techno influences into a cohesive and innovative sound. Created by drummer Domantas Razmus, trombonist Jievaras Jasinskis, and saxophonist Simonas Šipavičius (aka Sheep Effect), the project pushes the boundaries of contemporary jazz by incorporating live sampling, sensor-based percussion, loop stations, and cutting-edge technology. As Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble’s fourth album, RavenJazz continues the ensemble’s mission to elevate Lithuanian jazz onto international stages while fostering collaboration between young talents and seasoned professionals.
